Workshops
The programme for the conference comprises plenary sessions and four thematic workshops.
- Renewing democratic participation
- Local and regional self-government in a multi-level polity
- Innovations in local and regional finance and public service provision
- New forms of transborder and interterritorial cooperation
In addition to the plenary sessions and the workshops the conference also comprises two interesting side events:
- Excursion to Roombeek area (and a subsequent Conference Dinner in Lattrop)
- Thematic Workshops on Crossborder Cooperation in Practice and on Consequences of the Financial crisis for local and regional government
